Before installing TaskCentre please confirm system hardware specification recommendations with your supplier.

Server
The following indicates the supported operating systems and the minimum service pack required.
• Microsoft Windows 2000 Server SP4
• Microsoft Windows 2000 Professional SP4
• Microsoft Windows XP Professional
• Microsoft Windows 2003 Server
• Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.5
Client
The following indicates the supported operating systems and the minimum service pack required.
• Microsoft Windows 2000 Server SP4
• Microsoft Windows 2000 Professional SP4
• Microsoft Windows XP Professional
• Microsoft Windows 2003 Server
• Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.5
Other Requirements
In addition, installation engineers should consider the following:
• TaskCentre requires 250mb of free space on the C: drive for the extraction process. This is cleared away on installation completion.
• Plan for a possible reboot of the server. This can occur if Microsoft Jet/DAO is updated during the install.
• Ensure that the regional settings on the server are appropriate. The default locale of the machine must be correct. (i.e. not US English as is often the case with machines outside the USA)
• IE must be version 5.5 upwards. Again a server reboot will be required if IE has to be upgraded.
• Access to an SMTP mail server is required (Can use a Virtual SMTP server on Windows XP with an additional utility - Please call for details)
